What’s the best time to go to bed?
It found that cardiovascular disease rates were 25% higher when sleep began after midnight.
12% higher when sleep started 11pm-12am
24% higher when sleep started before 10 pm.
These are interesting findings, and it is thought that very early or very late sleep times are disrupting the body’s circadian rhythm, which plays a key role in regulating physical functioning. For example, staying up past midnight may put you at the highest risk because you would be less likely to see the first morning light, resetting the body clock.
